PREFIX for Python 0.1.0
Commercial License / EULA
This license is the express written permission that lets an eligible purchaser use PREFIX for Python 0.1.0 for commercial development within the limits below.
1. License Grant
After payment of the one-time license price through an authorized checkout, Fast Industries grants the named purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- install and use PREFIX for Python 0.1.0 on up to two computers personally controlled by that named developer;
- use PREFIX in the named developer's personal and commercial software-development work; and
- make one archival backup copy that is not installed or used as an additional working copy.
One license means one named human developer. It is not a floating, concurrent, team, company-wide, or machine-farm license.
2. Ownership
Fast Industries and its licensors retain all ownership and intellectual-property rights in PREFIX, its code, packages, documentation, names, and proprietary notices. The customer retains ownership of code and other material the customer creates. Using PREFIX does not transfer ownership of customer-created code to Fast Industries.
Any third-party components remain subject to their own notices and license terms.
3. Restrictions
The customer may not, and may not enable another person to:
- redistribute, publish, upload, share, lend, rent, or make PREFIX available to another person;
- resell, sublicense, transfer, or assign the license;
- repackage PREFIX, its installers, wheel, VSIX, or release bundle as another product or service;
- remove or obscure copyright, trademark, license, or other proprietary notices; or
- use one license for more than one named developer or more than two personally controlled computers.
Except where applicable law does not allow the restriction, the customer may not reverse engineer or circumvent technical restrictions in PREFIX.
4. Version, Updates, and Support
This license covers PREFIX for Python 0.1.0. It does not promise future versions, upgrades, new platform support, maintenance, a service-level agreement, or a response-time commitment. Any future entitlement must be stated separately in writing.
Public technical defects may be reported through the product repository's issue tracker. Do not post license keys, receipts, order details, personal information, or proprietary source code in a public issue.
5. Term and Termination
The license continues unless terminated. It terminates automatically if the customer materially breaches these terms and does not cure the breach where applicable law requires an opportunity to cure. On termination, the customer must stop using PREFIX and delete installed and backup copies. Rights that by their nature should survive—including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.
6. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PREFIX is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. PREFIX has a deliberately bounded correction surface and is not a promise that arbitrary Python programs or errors can be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fast Industries is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use PREFIX. Fast Industries' aggregate liability arising from the licensed product will not exceed the amount the customer paid for that license.
Nothing in this license excludes rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude or limit.
7. Entire License
This customer license, the Terms of Sale, and any mandatory checkout terms form the agreement for the purchase. If a bundled all-rights-reserved notice says use requires express written permission, this commercial license is that permission only for a purchaser who complies with its terms.
