PREFIX for Python 0.1.0

From download to the first correction.

The current commercial download contains the local CLI and existing VS Code interface for Windows x64 and Linux amd64. Review the checked workflows and editor limits below before installing.

  1. Review the commercial license and purchase through the existing $29 USD one-time offer on Lemon Squeezy.
  2. The provider-published offer identifies PREFIX_010_CUSTOMER_DELIVERY_77d742f.zip and PREFIX_COMMERCIAL_LICENSE.md. Customer delivery and download access have not been independently verified for this update.
  3. After receiving the download, extract the bundle, open START_HERE.html or START_HERE.md, and select your platform. The included checksums and verifier identify the exact files.
  4. On Windows, use the included per-user installer. It includes its own CPython 3.12.10 runtime and expects VS Code to be installed. On Linux, follow the included installation guide with an installed CPython 3.12 runtime.
  5. For the retained Linux editor setup listed below, open a Python file in VS Code and run PREFIX: Govern Active Python Transition. Review the change. Ambiguous and unsupported inputs can produce advice or a refusal without changing your buffer. Windows editor use in VS Code 1.134.0 is not verified; the latest Windows CLI check passed.

Frequently asked questions

Know the product before installing.

Do I need an activation key?

The current 0.1.0 commercial download does not require an activation key or online activation. The license permits one named developer to use up to two personally controlled computers. Those terms still apply.

Which Python versions are supported?

CPython 3.12 only: >=3.12,<3.13. The adapter declares VS Code 1.85 as its API minimum; that declaration does not verify every later editor version. macOS, ARM and other Python versions are not qualified for this release.

Which workflows have been checked?

The latest Windows check of the original wheel and bundled CPython 3.12.10 runtime passed all 40 CLI assertions. Editor correction in the latest Windows VS Code 1.134.0 test timed out after five seconds; editor use on that version is not verified.

Retained Linux evidence covers Ubuntu under WSL2 with CPython 3.12.3 and native Linux VS Code 1.85.2. It does not establish a new bare-metal Linux test or verification of newer editor versions.

Does it run or upload my code?

Correction is local and does not use cloud inference or run the target program. CLI receipt files can contain source and paths; keep them private.

What can it correct?

A bounded set of mapped Python structural errors, such as supported missing-colon and indentation cases. It checks structure rather than application logic. Unsupported or ambiguous inputs can be refused.

Where do I get help?

For technical questions, use the public issue tracker with a non-sensitive example. For private order and refund questions, use the contact on your Lemon Squeezy receipt.

What are the purchase terms?

$29 USD once, with no subscription. Review the terms of sale, refund policy and privacy policy. The refund policy describes the 14-day request window and mandatory consumer rights.
